Mindfulness based stress reduction 8 week group course
Learning in groups offers unique experiences and insights and helps us to know we are not alone in our basic human nature. Over the 8 weeks build an understanding of mindfulness and stress, develop practices, and find new ways to respond and live with less reactivity and greater ease
Courses are delivered by Catherine Burns. Catherine has trained with Bangor University, one of the foremost masters level mindfulness teacher training organisations in the UK and highly respected worldwide (MA in Teaching Mindfulness Based Interventions)
She is also a Specialist Physiotherapist with an MSc (Distinction) in Clinical Management of Pain from University of Edinburgh, with15 years experience working with chronic pain and other long term physical and mental health difficulties. This makes her sessions particularly suitable for people with long term physical health conditions looking to improve their wellbeing and self management skills.
